WOLLOMBI SUITE

The Wollombi Suite represents approx. 50 drawings produced at Wollombi, NSW over a period of 12 days between 9th of January and 2nd of February 2012. The  process involved sourcing appropriate landscape subject material, mostly in the vicinity of the township, making drawing on location using only willow charcoal.  it was important to limit the material to willow charcoal as it gave me a platform to 'tell the experience', rather than describe it.  There was an interest to keep the drawings as edited and understated as possible.  (all drawings are willow charcoal on stonehenge paper, 41x38cm)
